NekTek Ideals

NekTek Games is a game development group which works on a completely voluntary basis. There is no strict hierarchy, everyone is on the same page and can decide to work on whatever they want, whenever they want. Everyone can work at the speed they’re most comfortable with. There are no hard deadlines, and all projects will carry the infamous tagline “when it’s done™” unless all agree to a release date.

All official NekTek projects will be made open source, with copyleft licenses whenever possible. We do not work for profit, but if we do collect donations, they will be fairly split between all members.

We are an LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent inclusive space and do not tolerate discrimination, intimidation, harassment, abuse or any derogatory actions.

We are firmly against the usage of Generative AI, and all assets will either be created by us, or taken from sources that allow as such and were confirmed to not be AI generated. The violation of personal copyright and the environmental impact of AI is something we will not support.
